This is a very tasty traditional dish. It can be served mainly as a meze dish and because of its strong taste it makes the best company to ouzo, tsipouro (a strong distilled spirit produced from the residue of the wine press) or wine. How strong the garlic dip is depends on how strong you want it! Add or reduce the amount of garlic according to your preference

September, the month Greeks really enjoy grapes in their season! Not only are they great as a fruit but out of them we get products like the grape must (and out of it the grape molasses "petimezi") which we use in various sweets and desserts.
