Orange flavour cookies

No, it's not "all cookies are the same"!!.... Different flavour in the dough means different result, even if the shape is similar... This one, again, is an easy recipe and the aroma of the orange makes the difference

Ingredients (for at least 50 cookies):
1 kg of all purpose flour
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of sunflower oil
1 cup of fresh orange juice
the zest of 2 oranges
1 full tbsp cinnamon powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 a water-glass of brandy
1 egg yolk

Method:
In a deep plastic bowl add in together the sugar, the sunflower oil, the orange juice and the zest, the cinnamon, the baking soda and the brandy.
Using a hand electric mixer beat the ingredients well, initially, for about 1-2 minutes and without stopping the beating gradually add in the flour.

In the end, you need a dough easy to handle and not too hard.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a couple of oven dishes with baking paper.

Beat the egg yolk in a small bowl together with some water.
Taking small pieces of the dough make cookies of different sizes and shapes, as for example the twisted shape.

Place the cookies on the oven dishes, leaving some space between them. Using a brush pass all the cookies with the egg yolk.

Bake for 15 minutes, until they are golden brown. Let them cool totally on a rack and save them in metal boxes.
