This is a super seasonal recipe thanks to the chestnuts! A really tasty, fluffy and airy dessert which can be served not only during the Holiday period but anytime and at any occasion! Just keep in mind not to dust with the cocoa in advance but only just before you need to serve. Otherwise the cocoa will get wet and sticky in the fridge

'Yiaprakia Moraitika' - Festive stuffed cabbage rolls
This is a very old, traditional recipe coming from the Moreas (or Morias) peninsula which is nothing else than the Peloponnese peninsula, as we know it today. The idea of this dish is the same with the classic recipe of stuffed cabbage rolls from other areas of Greece, but it differs at the same time. For a start, no avgolemono sauce is involved in this version. There is no rice in the mixture, leek is included instead, ground cinnamon as a spice and the meat used is mainly very finely chopped pork instead of the classic ground beef. This was a special recipe served during the Holiday season but also all the way through the Winter. When in season, they also used lettuce or sorrel leaves instead of cabbage. It is really a very filling, delicious and homely recipe and you will not feel you lost your time if you decide to try it out! At the Christmas table, since there is no avgolemono sauce included, they could be served as a first dish
Pie with roasted beetroots and Anthotyro cheese
An unusual but still delicious pie with the, quite popular in Greece, sweet beetroots as the star of the recipe. The homemade pastry gives an extra taste to the pie and it is worth the trouble to follow the recipe. Still though, if you don't feel like it you can substitute with shortcrust pastry or thick phyllo sheets pastry
