Spicy chocolate Fondue

It's not as complicated as it might seems at first place.... It is fun and delicious and a great idea to serve it as a dessert when you have friends invited for dinner so to close this gathering in the best way!

Ingredients (for 4 people):
300 gr. of dark chocolate, cut into pieces
1 ½ cup of low-fat crème fraîche
½ a cup of Cointreau liqueur (or cognac or dark rum)
1 small dried chilli pepper, finely chopped and soaked in cold water for 30 minutes
various fresh fruits, depending on the season (pears, apples, banana, strawberries)
some lady fingers biscuits

Method:
Warm in a pot the crème fraîche on medium heat until it starts boiling. Add in the pot the chopped pepper. Add the liqueur and stir thoroughly.

Melt the chocolate in a bowl and add into the bowl the warmed cream mixture. Stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture is smooth.

Transfer the mixture into a fondue pot, which you place above a candle or tea light as a source of heat and serve immediately along with a variety of fresh fruits (cut into bite-size pieces) and the biscuits.
